The first weekend in October just shy of 2500 people came together to raise funds and awareness for suicide prevention and support for survivors of suicide loss. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention-AFSP is the largest national non-profit that raises money and creates a community that is smart about mental health. The Portland Oregon Out of the Darkness walk raised over $150,000 dollars.
