On October 1st, just shy of two thousand people in Portland, came together to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention-AFSP is the largest national non-profit that funds research and education to help prevent suicide. The Portland Oregon Out of the Darkness walk raised over $100,000 dollars.
